Beyond Inspiration | Nelwin Uy’s XOXO

As I often say to myself and to everyone I came to talk to, spending my fortune, time and effort in this learning avenue is beyond worth it. It’s overwhelming considering how “baby” I still am in the wedding industry that it often gets me tongue-tied of my gladness to have been part of NU’s first ever workshop, to have learned from his successes and mistakes, to have witnessed his flaws in the flesh, to experience his humility, sincerity and willingness to share and to so many other very important things I really need as I continue on in the industry.

Listening to the guest speakers in various topics essential to the success of a wedding photographer and to have met various talented artists from all-over the country were indeed mega great incentives and pretty much inspiring and encouraging to hurdle on the vicissitudes of this endeavor.I thank God for this wonderful opportunity.

We are blissful to bring you Yap Photography’s Christmas 2012 post.

We have that certain feeling that this feature, though taken during the summer of this year, is a bit special for us for several reasons as this is our very first time to shoot in the crazy beautiful Shangri-la’s Boracay Resort and Spa in Malay, Aklan. This is also our very first time to shoot a Japanese couple (They want to remain unmentioned just so they won’t be searchable in the internet.) who’s so loveliest of the lovelies when they’re together. It is also special as it was such a wonderful opportunity to be with these people for hours, know them, delve a little bit in their lives and share and laugh at our different experiences.

This has been one great opportunity we question how and why we were given and so, we are thankful.

As we celebrate the birth of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who suffered and died on the cross, rose from the grave for the remission of the sins of mankind and to save us from the eternal suffering in hell, we thank Him for His undying faithfulness in our lives as family men, sons, brothers, friends and wedding photographers.
