The toxic feeling caused by the midnight trip from Bacolod City to Boracay was engulfed with energy and excitement as we started shooting Joey and Guia’s wedding.
The trip was kind of tough as I recollect. We left Bacolod around 12:00 in the morning of the wedding day of the couple (take note, on the wedding day) and travelled for around 8 hours due to some “detours” along the way (I won’t elaborate on that.) My brother and I were not able to sleep well. Our heads were like floating as we went through winding roads especially during the ferry boat ride where the sea wasn’t behaving so well.
But the passion was burning and we were enjoying the thought of shooting our first ever Boracay wedding. Woohoo!
Arriving, we didn’t have time to rest so we prepared ourselves for another day of photographing love, romance and fun-filled moments.
Mysterious as it may seem, you just don’t go weary if you love and enjoy what you’re doing.
The weather was really unpredictable. The sky went cloudy in a while. Drizzled. Then the sun peeped again. Thanks be to God that rains didn’t pour. Our amazement, awe and surprise were overwhelming as, at last, we stepped on the sands of one of the premiere tourist spots in the Philippines and might be in the world. Yes, we’re not embarrassed to admit it was our first time to be in Boracay.
Joey and Guia are such wonderful and fabulous people and we can’t thank them enough for choosing us to photograph their wedding.
We also express our gratitude to all Gatuslaos, Maulions and the friends of Guia, calling themselves “the creative team”, for making it all fun and fun all the way.
To Zoe Mei Resort, Hannah Hotel and Forest Hills, it was nice staying in your places.
Enjoy the photos, may the force be with you (what does that mean?) and may you contact us for your wedding photography needs through Facebook or Mobile Phone.

Blessings!
